Librarian’s plan of development policy in the context of information

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore from the practitioners’ point of view the existing intersection between library´s development plan and information policies. Turner and Rowlands have considered that stage process model can be successfully applied to the library environment. In a metaphorical sense, plans could have a proper anatomy, also a hierarchically structure that goes from the established mission to a financial program. Finally a methodology is proposed to integrate a development plan.
