RSS and ISD Documentary Dissemination Services: Similar Means But Different

Abstract

It aims to make a comparison between two models for documentary dissemination services: selective dissemination of information and the RSS content syndication. To this end, concepts and scopes related to each information service will be established, and then their operating mechanisms and transformation mechanisms from a service into another will be compared.
