User Studies and Archives: A Strategic Alliance

Abstract

User studies are a pivotal tool for archives. Application of user studies is new; therefore, many archivists ignore how to use them or apply them. This article analyzes the significance of user studies, its methodology, and the different customer types and categories. Moreover, reference is made to user studies in the field of archives in Costa Rica.
