CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR THE UNIVERSIDAD DE LA SALLE ARCHIVE AS PART OF THE CONSERVATION INTEGRATED SYSTEM

Abstract

Regarding the importance of information, it is necessary to establish contingency plans to allow the organizations handle possible situations that attempt against the continuity of the business. In order to make it possible, it is necessary that the organizations identify the critical information for the development of their functions and activities and include specific policies and controls in order to handle this information. The study is framed within the type of exploratory investigation, using as instruments to collect information, field observation, observation to the facilities of the Central Archive and to the Center of Systems and Computers, the application of interviews, and attendance to the conferences given by the DPAE (Direction of Emergency Prevention and Attention in Bogotá).
