The Science of Information from the twenty-first century faces a big challenge. The inclusion should promote products and services that would increase the level of intelectual autonomy and benefitiate the communities, still marginalized, from the citizen’s information to the scientific production to increase in the universities in order to promote the international visibility. In that sense, the promotion of the international inclusion, based on the information of competences, is one activity that, in case it is well executed,it will be able to include the Science of information in the government agenda. This will be basic for the creation of international policies that enable the training of readers ( public) and put an end in the existente unballance in the tranference and thinking of the knowledge / information. This process will require a new model of the information professionals’ future view. However, it will be fundamental for the society building in the Ibero-American region, in one moment, where the Latin American countries have already discovered the importance and relevance of post-graduation courses in the Science of Information.
