The Importance of Technology Use in Information Units

Abstract

This article reflects on information systems and the use these should make of technology in order satisfy and adapt to their customers’ information needs. This objective is based on planning processes that serve as experiential reference for the management of information systems in information units, aiming to achieve a gradual increase in the use and appropriation of information and communication technologies (ICT), taking into account the real and changing needs of information users.
