Abstract

This article is a much needed reflection on the role of university innovation centers and the fundamental elements for their creation, promotion, and distribution in the context of the politics of science, technology, and innovation in a country. The study presents primary activities that encourage the relationship between business, innovation centers, and government, and their characteristics in a university setting, specifically regarding information sciences programs.
