Guidelines to Guide Information Management. Documentary From the Email: A Case Study

Abstract

The objective of this article is to propose guidelines for the management of the documentary information from the electronic mail, considering as a particular case of study the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. The methodology was constructed from a qualitative approach, through which it was possible to carry out exploratory research, using the case study method. The main results show the need to generate guidelines to guide the management of the documentary information generated by email in the Ministry of Culture. As part of the proposal, it is urgent to establish guidelines and strategies for emails, which must be implemented from the same organization according to the means and tools available.
